1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vedohum platform ("Platform"), including our website, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

Vedohum reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to immediately notify Vedohum of any unauthorised use.

Vedohum may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

4. Wellness Experience Bookings

Vedohum acts as a marketplace connecting customers with independent wellness practitioners ("Partners"). Vedohum is not a provider of wellness services. All experiences are delivered by Partners who are solely responsible for the quality, safety, and accuracy of their services.

4.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after successful payment. A booking reference and QR code will be provided upon confirmation. You must present the QR code at the venue for check-in.

4.2 Slot Reservation

When you initiate a booking, your selected slot is held for 10 minutes. If payment is not completed within this period, the hold expires and the slot becomes available to other customers.

5. Payments

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers (Stripe and Razorpay). Vedohum does not store or process your card details directly. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

A platform service fee may apply to bookings. Any applicable fees are clearly displayed before payment confirmation.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation policies vary by experience and are clearly stated on the experience detail page and at the time of booking. The four policy tiers are:

• Flexible: Full refund up to 24 hours before the experience.
• Moderate: Full refund up to 48 hours before the experience.
• Strict: Full refund 7+ days before; 50% refund 24 hours to 7 days before.
• Non-refundable: No refund after booking confirmation.

Partner-initiated cancellations always result in a full refund to the customer, regardless of the cancellation policy.

7. Partner Obligations

Partners must hold valid professional qualifications and licences for the services they offer. Partners agree to undergo identity and credential verification (KYC) before listing experiences. All listings are subject to review and approval by Vedohum.

Partners are prohibited from making medical claims, including claims to cure, treat, or diagnose any medical condition.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vedohum is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from participation in wellness experiences. Partners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Vedohum.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vedohum's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Vedohum or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

10. User Content & Reviews

By submitting reviews, ratings, or other content, you grant Vedohum a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute such content on the Platform. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free from hate speech, personal attacks, or false claims.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion feature. Vedohum may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other conduct detrimental to the Platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
